When driving into the sun when the sun is at a low angle, the interior lamination layer of the windshield refracts the light and creates a frosted appearance decreasing visibility.
They have replaced the windshield 4 time now and each has had the same issue.
I've never heard of the issue before. Do you wear glasses? Could they be impacting your vision?
I'm guessing that you live on the west side of town and have to drive home each afternoon.
Can you get some independent advice from another glass installer (SafeLite, e.g.)?
