I use solar to electrify my home and vehicle. I would like to have my 2 BEVs serve as a V-2-H backup system. One vehicle is a 2022 Y with LR. Has anyone heard when or whether Telsa will provide the software and hardware for V2H?

As far as anyone knows, that’s not possible outside of the Cybertruck. And there was no mention from Tesla that there would be a retrofit for any of their existing vehicles.
V2H is overrated and not worth the expense. Don't get caught up in the "I have to have it just to check the box" hype.
There are aftermarket solutions, no need to adapt your Tesla. They are however V2L, not V2H, which may not be exactly what you need.

There are also home DC charging solutions that permit bidirectional charging (V2H) but they cost around 10k last time I checked.
I considered these solutions myself and concluded that it's not worth the hassle as they are unsanctioned by Tesla and support could be removed anytime. I'm planning on installing a home battery instead to take advantage of my excess solar generation.
