I ordered my M3SR on 3/4 and upgraded the order to M3SR+ on 3/7. They gave me an estimated deliver of 3/20-3/29. I'm in Tampa FL.

Did anyone else order either and get a VIN yet? Did you have a reservation or just order? Has anyone received their SR or SR+ yet?

Ordered SR+ on 3/11 - pearl white, black interior, aero. AP. Panama City Florida (lots of Florida on this thread), which isn't close to a delivery center so I'm getting home delivery.

I got the VIN a day later by email, and thought it might have been a placeholder but it showed up the same on the website today (299xxx). Expecting the car to be in Jacksonville by 3/21 and then they'll arrange for transport here.

Ordered February 28, 7:30 PM (CDT):
- Standard Range Model 3, $35k
- Metallic Blue, $1.5k
- Current Autopilot, $3k

Emails and SMS messages about financing and trade-in. Received a draft cost estimate. Have bank loan approval because Tesla financing is not available to Alabama residents.

Getting trade-in car detailed today while waiting on replacement title.

I went with the SR because I dislike leather seats (sweat rash), and also figured the SR and SR+ actually share the same battery (SR being software limited). The latter is a guess on my part, but if true, I should fare better over time and in cold weather depending on how they limit it.
Reserved 4/19/2016 ordered SR in black on 2/28/2019 and it showed 2-4 weeks. No contact yet from Tesla. Located in Portland, Oregon. Seems like they are doing SR+ first.

I'm jealous! Ordered on 3/4 - updated to SR+ on 3/7. Received text of delivery between 3/20-3/29. Since then nothing. No VIN and nothing on my account. Anxiously patient...

Day one of my expected delivery date range (3/20-3/29) and still no VIN and delivery specialist also says no VIN assigned yet. The anticipation is killing me! :)

When you are looking forward, correct. But when you are looking at the past, especially for Model 3 reservations, the anticipation was, to a great degree, one of the more memorable aspects of the car.

Its all a matter of perspective.
Sorry, my post was a failed attempt at a joke. The anticipation was fun. :)

I ordered an SR+ on 3/17 and got a Vin on 3/19. (NY). I have since canceled that order in favor of a MR from FL. It has 400mi on it, and it's discounted $1200. The flipside is that they are charging me $1000 for shipping.

Are they also charging you that $1,200 destination and documentation fee?

I asked, and yes. I get to pay both. I thought that it was outrageous, but it's the only way to get an MR at this point, and the only way to get premium connectivity without going full LR.

Am I reading this right? Your paying over 2k fordelivery on a used car that they are selling to you as quasi new?
Something does not sound right here.

Yeah, it's a bit messed up, but I'm going to try to argue with them at delivery.
