Hankook tires efficiency test

I replaced the stock continental’s with hankook ion evo tires and did a before and after range test.
19” Gemini 2021 LR AWD Y.
Old tires had 27k miles on them.

25 mile loop at constant 70mph. 35 degrees.

continental 294 Wh/mi
Hankook 286 Wh/mi
2.7% more efficient!

I'm very surprised that fresh tires are more efficient though. Usually you have to break tires in for a few thousand miles before they'll be more efficient than old tires.
