Has anyone done a 'European tour' with a US Spec Tesla?

I found this reddit thread

Summary:
  • If your Tesla is new enough to support CCS, then you can purchase a CCS2 to NACS adapter (example) and you'll be able to supercharge in Europe.
  • I believe Tesla actually makes & sells one of these adapters (the pre-refresh version of this: link), but only as part of a CCS conversion for older S and X vehicles.
  • For public L2 charging, you'll need a Mennekes to NACS adapter (example).
  • Navigation won't work.
  • Tesla shops in Europe won't perform warranty work on your Tesla

Per Tesla website, my car is compatible with the with the 'CCS combo 1 adapter', and no listing for CCS2.
Sure, but the only difference between CCS1 and CCS2 is the physical connector. The software protocol is exactly the same.
