I did reach out to KW regarding the release schedule for P3D and got a reply back that they will start selling them in three months.
Quick heads up: I'm having major support issues with KW on my hobby/toy BMW 135i. The ST XTA coilovers that I have, which are manufactured by KW, did come with a manufacturing defect that I for the longest time thought to be installation issue as I did that with a friend of mine and we are no professional mechanics in any standard.

Basically the upper spring perches are loose and make an awful racket when the car is driven. I tried to work this out with KW online support and after giving me a major runaround with their warranty card, which required me to take my car apart to get all of the product codes and measurements for me they just blankly stated that I need to deal with the vendor directly and went dark.

Here is a short demonstration of my kit's defect:

Here is another BMW owner with E46 who has the exact same issue:

So, if and when you are dealing with KW products, get them from a local reputable vendor as KW the manufacturer does not care for one bit if you have issues with their products, even if it would be a well known manufacturing error on their part as I've found out.

I have to conclude that after the fiasco with their support I will be voting with my wallet and will not get any KW products, ever, if I can at all avoid it. If any of you however do, please know that if you have any issues with their products, you will need to deal all warranty claims with the re-seller. Luckily I bought mine off from Amazon, so they might have enough weight to pummel KW into submission and get me replacement front shocks as the E46 owner in the above video was not even able to get a response out of KW support. I luckily had dealt with their financial department before and could ask them to forward my support claim onwards as I didn't have any luck on reaching support through the email addresses that KW has posted on their site.

I did send a notification of their support failure to KW's COO, let's see if they have any vested interest do improve their customer facing support.

So for the folks that have lowered their cars...if the back the spring is separate from the shock...wouldn't it be easier to use a compressor tool (autozone) and compress the rear springs and take them out of the perch instead of unbolting everything? Of course I'm saying this by only looking at pictures/videos i see online. i haven't attempted the install....just prepping myself.

How’s it ride compared to stock? We’d all love a review!

I noticed you had it installed in Walnut. I am not too far from there. If you don't mind me asking, how much was it to install? I was thinking of getting the coilovers as well. Doing some research on installation costs.

Just had my Model 3 lowered with MPP Comfort coilovers 1". Love it so far! View attachment 25700 View attachment 25702
This looks awesome. I just got mine installed too and have found it a bit too low for my liking because i'm scraping coming in and out of my driveway if i'm not being careful. I had my installers adjust mine one full turn up from the default settings. I'm curious how many turns up or how many mm up from the default settings yours is set to get to 1" lowering height?

That's definitely a crappy situation to be in. When it comes to our own KW manufactured parts, we are the go-between, so the customer doesn't have to deal with the big company problems like you did. We also have a lot more weight to swing around- if we say something is wrong or defective, they say okay what do you need. For example, we don't need to fill out those stupid warranty cards!

It is no secret they are going to release their own coilovers, but we are confident that we offer more Tesla specific knowledge, dedication to the community and continued support after the sale. We spent much more time than KW dialling them in, and we will continue refining and improving our products, and listening to feedback from customers, rather than just moving on to the next car (2020 Supra?)

What's the backorder like now for new comfort orders?

Hello Tesla Fam!

writing on here to share my experience with lowering my model 3.
Status: TESLA MODEL 3 LR RWD 18 inch aeros stock but currently sitting on 20 inch VFS-1 VOSSENS.
Specs: front 245/35/20 9.5 rear 275/35/20 10

i could not stand the gap space that was between the tire and fender so decided to lower.
i have it currently at signature customs in miami, fl. picking it up this afternoon.
only springs they had in stock was the LOW springs from UNPLUGGED so even though i wanted moderates i will have the lows installed.
i messaged many many many people on IG and these forums that have these springs and they stated that they barely if ever scrape just have to be careful when driving and definitly take caution.

does anyone have any experience with the lows that can help me back it up?

ALSO, range from switching to aftermarket 20's has affected my daily commute by an additional 20 miles so not bad. i commute 35 miles to work and 35 miles back and is mostly highway driving.
i also step on it and touch 100-140 daily on this highway.

if anyone is interested in buying my stock 18 inch rims please PM ME as well as the stock springs

any feedback will be much appreciated

if you are driving 100-140mph DAILY on your commute, you are an idiot and a danger to everyone around you.
