Simple solution to Tesla Model Y Tow Hitch Cover issue. Cut off most of the internal clips except bottom middle, top sides, and a few on top edge.
Fit a rubber grommet (synthetic) no cows used to create it.....with a 1.25" grommet.
Drill a hole and stick it in. Then later put your finger in to pull it out. No you cannot say Tesla open my hitch cover.........
Easier to put in when one hand is not holding a camera phone..............
