On my ICE cars I replace the battery every 4 years like clockwork. Any guidance on my 2020 X, with 40K miles? TIA

I thought tesla had switched 12v batteries to lithium ion and dead 12v batteries were a thing of the past. I had been driving the car around for a week so if it had been sitting around before, it had not been for the last week.
Worried because at the time I was considering buying one.
Since then I came back home and did take delivery of a RWD M3 just like it except for white interior. Hope it doesn’t happen to my car. We haven’t been stranded by an ICE car in many many years.

If I replace my battery, would it be Lithium Ion or are then not compatible with my 2020 MX? TIA
