That profile icon in the upper right. Has me wondering what that might be. Cloud profile?
I love the way you think. I would really like to see this - your profile hits any car you drive with your identifier. That profile icon in the upper right. Has me wondering what that might be. Cloud profile?
Not a new feature. Are you sure you don't have it right below Charging? Seems odd that showing Location would be dependent upon having AP.My car only features cruise-control, and I don't have Location in my app. Do those with Navigation or FSD have Location, or is that a new feature?
Yep, it shows your car's location on a map. But if you happen to be parked in a multistory garage, then you're still on your own to remember which level, plus location will be wrong if the car can't get a GPS signal. Can I guess this feature will help me navigate to where I've parked my car? <fingers crossed>
That'd be AMAZING! Though I hope that includes actually starting the vehicle too.Word is for those with multiple cars we won't have to switch cars for walk up unlock and walk away lock!!
I've not found it too difficult to "start" my Model 3 by just getting in the car and driving. Please help me understand the benefit of the START command, tganks. That'd be AMAZING! Though I hope that includes actually starting the vehicle too.
I guess initially the Robotaxi network would require a driver profile for the person behind the wheel.I would really like to see this - your profile hits any car you drive with your identifier.
This is referring to those of us with multiple Tesla's under our account. Right now the Tesla app will only connect to one vehicle. So if you have a second Tesla, you'd have to load the app to switch over to it. Supposedly the new update will allow the BT connection to remain connect to multiple Tesla's at the same time.I've not found it too difficult to "start" my Model 3 by just getting in the car and driving. Thanks, Having only one Tesla I didn't realize they app could only be used to control one car. This is referring to those of us with multiple Tesla's under our account. Right now the Tesla app will only connect to one vehicle.
The start function is to allow someone to drive the vehicle without actually having a key/phone inside the car. ie, you're at home and want to allow someone to drive the vehicle without you having to get near the vehicle. Thanks, Having only one Tesla I didn't realize they app could only be used to control one car.
So, what purpose does the "START" function provide that makes in easier than just getting in a car and driving the car?
