How will people react when they can see the first Model 3 out in the East Coast of the US? Gathering of sorts? Who would be willing to get together, perhaps even travel some within driving distance for this opportunity?? What would people be most wanting to see up close??

Probably like this: :eek:penmouth:

This sounds very anti-fun, but not willing to go very far. Besides (I've said this before) seeing the car may actually make me go more insane while waiting ;)

How will we react? I'm not sure this forum is appropriate for my reaction :D

If there is one being shown anywhere in New England on a weekend, I will absolutely travel to see it.
Chances are it will still show up in the Boston showroom first, in which case I will instantly leave my seat and be there within 15 minutes of hearing the news any day, any time.

A Model 3 was spotted in Naples, FL yesterday! It was someone's personal vehicle apparently. Hopefully we will start seeing them in showrooms soon.
Certainly closer to me then Tampa. If we could guarantee that car wouldn't move I'd be talking to my wife about "running out to the store real quick".

When I stopped by the West Palm Beach Service Center on Monday, the DS I spoke to said that the guy who holds his position at the Naples SC had received his Model 3. My guess would be that this is it.

There's definitely one at the Brandon service center sometimes. The front desk girl told me it belongs to a Tesla "Engineer" that is in sometimes. She couldn't say much due to her NDA. When I was there last weekend, all they had out back was the black RC. I'll be back in there 10/4 for service and I'll let you all know if I see anything.

I spoke with a salesman at the store in Paramus, NJ, and he has confirmed that an employee there has taken delivery of his Model 3. No pictures have surfaces yet.
Your mission should you choose to accept it... go camp at the store. The salesman has to go to work ;)

It's almost 2 hours away. It is where I stood in line to reserve my TM3 though. I might try to get by there in the next week or so.

I'm not far from the Paramus nj store. I don't plan on camping out but I will drive by a few times next week and stop in. Anybody know the color of the salesmans car in Paramus..?

This dealership is very nice.

One thing though there are two tesla stores in NJ..

One at the garden state mall of which is among the largest malls in America and with multilevel parking and thousands of square feet of parking...I'll never find the car.

If it's the Paramus store on route 17 North then I'll easily see the vehicle.

Even a phone number would tell me which store has the salesman with the new model 3.

I guess I could stop by the route 17 North store and ask...to see the model 3 and they might be honest and tell me it's the mall store a few miles down the road...

Like I said if it's that one I'll never find the vehicle but it sure would be cool to see the model 3 in person...

It'll help me stay the course for the next 12 to 14 months till my model 3 gets delivered..if I'm lucky ;)

Which Paramus store? Garden state mall or route 17 North...

Finding a vehicle at the mall store is impossible...but the route 17 North store would be easy..

Let me know..your phone number would tell which store it was...

Thanks in advance

My contact isn't the owner of the model 3, I usually talk to him on his cell phone, and once he came to my house for a solar sales meeting and brought an S 85D for a test drive. (and Iive almost 2 hours from the store, talk about customer service) I believe that he's in the Rt 17 northbound store as I first spoke with him after calling that store I believe. I'd look there first.
