So far, released only to employees.

I have 2023.2.12.. (2022 M3rwd) trying to understand update numbers. It would appear the numbers are going backwards? With 2023.12 just now released. When apple or other operating systems update the numbers are sequential, low to high but that doesn’t seem to be the case here. Can you explain the order of update numbers? In USA, Will I get this update?
maybe a dumb question but I’d like to know the method of update numbers if there is one.

This is great, it will be interesting to see if us 'verticals' are left out again.

@FOTOGUZZI , the numbering is ascending as you mentioned. 2023.2 is smaller than 2023.12. 2023.2.12 is an iteration of 2023.2. Easy peasy. :)

So many current builds… would love some of this to come over to an 11.x branch soonish

Just installed it.

Dick.
Install took almost 39 minutes, longer than in the past.
Got this on a Y this evening. Some pretty cool updates coming for the scroll wheels. Have not explored and played with those yet, but two interesting tidbits in the iOS app.

I'll update the other thread, but for anyone that saw my posts - this new Y didn't have the "Vent" feature nor did we have an option for closing the windows on Walk Away Lock - until tonight. Had a special message in the app noting they were now available. I know these have been available on most cars for years, so I'm not sure if there was something in this release that was updated for the newer cars or ???

Also - on the controls screen, we now have a button for Tire PSI, I don't recall seeing that before tonight. I'm not the primary driver, so maybe its been there and I just haven't noticed it.

I really like the larger font. Bigger but not too big. It feels just right to me.

Can‘t find ’Gear Chime’ option in controls. I am sure I am missing some feature or is this just for specific configurations only?

Edit:
Seems this may only be available for MCU3 after reading few threads as I don’t have ‘Zoom’ option available either.

I have it and I turned it on.

@francoisp - You seem to have newer Model Y and likely have MCU3 - you will also see Zoom under option which my 2018 Model 3 with MCU2/2.5? Is missing

The notes do not mention that the feature is hardware dependent. It says it applies to 3 and Y. I followed the link below and it was already turned on. Maybe I'm wrong but this option can't require much CPU power contrary to an app like Zoom so your MCU should be powerful enough. Maybe it's due to some other hardware limitation.

This has yet another strange thing that had happened since on Christmas Eve the update wiped out all my profiles whereas today after posting above I checked and I was still on 2023.6.8. Rebooted with two scroll and left it. After few hours I got notified of new software update - this time I did it again and checked the version and finally am on 2023.12.1 and now I see Gear Chimes and see it turned on, likely it defaults to be on.

Will be excited when text size changes make it to the FSD Beta build, although current release notes say that is only for 3 and Y.

Here is one change I will not be happy about - why remove the car/battery graphic? That is one of the first things I show new people when explaining the car. I think it helps a lot to understand location and size of battery. And simplicity of the car.

@GDN the PSI button is available on my 2023.2.12 version. Maybe even earlier version.
