So Tesla service center denied the warranty work. But after getting notice that they are being sued in small claims court, decided to honor the warranty.
This guy still followed through to court, filed for, and won:
Court filing fee $15
Steering wheel cost, $917
He had to send the judgement to resolutions email @ Tesla and got his check 3 weeks later.
He should have also asked for:
Time researching, $100/hr
Transportation and parking cost.
Punitive damages from being falsely denied warranty - a brand new Tesla Model 3!
