Thanks, I didn't think that would work because the images don't seem to point to an actual jpeg. I fixed it

Maybe it is the different lighting in the pictures or my monitor - but does anyone think the blue is too "bright" / light? I haven't seen any live, just in pictures - I like a nice dark rich blue, but some of the pictures, especially the configurator on the home page seem very bright (almost like a Honda Civic blue). I am getting a little "nervous" and second guessing my choice.

Definitely not. In person, it actually looks very dark. In low light, I can mistake it for black.
Here's a picture in mixed sunlight/shade:

It changes quite a bit due to lighting, but not ever too bright like the Honda blue. It is really quite a nice blue.

Actually, all these blue photos are looking DARK to me, almost like a NAVY color ! I once owned a Honda Civic (Avignon Blue), these are nothing like it! So I don't think the car will be very light. The configurator presents the lightest blue that your car could EVER achieve it seems like a render and is a "ceiling blue" for that car color!

The blue paint very much changes depending on the light that's hitting it. It looked dark in so many pictures I had seen I never even considered getting it (I want bright colors!) until I saw one in a dark parking garage. In person it is really sharp. There's even some purple in certain angles.

If the photos ALL look dark @systemBuilder it might be time to properly calibrate your monitor; or look again on your cell phone [or an apple product] that is more likely to have a properly calibrated display.

Better yet, go see one in person! Since changing my mind and taking a chance so far I have been nothing but more and more thrilled with my decision to go with deep blue!

The blue is beautiful, don't make the mistake of switching :) I love the blue because when it's darker, it looks dark navy blue, which gives off that business/power player feel to your car. Suitable for any evening occasions. But during the day under bright sun, it's shiny deep metallic blue, and it gives off that sporty, cool, "look at me I'm awesome" feel. It's glowing metallic, definitely not cheap light blue.

This metallic blue shows off the curves on the Model 3 very well (same with Red and Silver). By that I mean as you look at the car, from front, to the side, to the back, you'll see dark & bright blue move throughout the car from reflections off the curves. This shows off the beautiful curves that the designers like Franz von Holzhausen put into Model 3. It's often not appreciated, but if you have the blue, red, or silver Model 3, you get to really enjoy it.

Some pics below in case you need convincing. You'll notice the car itself is deep metallic blue, but depending on where you are standing and how the sun is reflecting off the body, you'll see a brighter blue reflection, and it moves with the light and the curves. Just beautiful.

I find the blue too much on the dark side for my taste. I'm a fan of blues, I currently own a car in a very special blue (BMW Estoril Blue) and the TM3 Blue is just too dark for me most of the time. If it looked like JWardell's outside shots most of the time, or even just the majority of the time, I'd be all over it. I've seen it in person and in anything other than direct sunlight it's quite dark, on the navy side of things. This in and of itself is a special quality, however!

I shared and repeated the exact same opinion for many months, because I was going by numerous photos seen online. Be sure to see it with your eyes, because I am repeatedly impressed how great the blue looks even at night. Each day that goes by I'm happier that I switched colors at the last minute.
And my rims aren't even here yet...

It is definitely not navy blue.

I might do this if I end up ordering blue. Thoughts? More pictures here.
