a newbie question. Why my radio and nav talks at the same time.?it was not like this in the beginning but I did two updates and has recently noticed this phenomenon. Is it normal when the nav talks everything else go silent ?

They are both on their own volume control and from what I remember, they have always been active at the same time. It's phone calls that mute the music

A little bit of built-in computer intelligence would fix this. It can't be that difficult to dim the music volume a bit when the navigation speaks. You are right! This was the case before! As we used to be able to scroll through the previous release notes ... and now I only see the last...

I wish media playback would pause when getting nav instructions although this can also be annoying when getting multiple instructions in a short period of time.

This is fascinating. My 15 Yr old Lexus goes silent whenever navigation gives directions.
I thought there was something wrong with the car or I must have fiddled around with the wrong thing.

My opinion is that would be quite annoying. When you are in the middle of a number of turns, music on, music off. It tends to work quite well to me liking today.

it's funny my previous ICE vehicles had enough tech that the music being played was muted/reduced for NAV and phone calls. was quite surprised Tesla NAV and music seem totally unaware of each other. Oh well. On my list is quite down from no vented seats, no parking asst and no XM/Sirius for the Y.
