You might not consider it an aftermarket item, but Living in Vegas...Tinting IMHO is! I will tint the front windshield, side windows at 25% and match the backseat windows. Might tint the glass roof depending on how it looks stock.
So crazy how much lighting plays a factor. I have 30% pinnacle and it looks lighter than your first picture hahaHere's some pictures of my Model 3 tint in various angles and lighting.....
Llumar FormulaOne Pinnacle 40% on sides, rear 1-piece and sunroof + Stratos 70% on the windshield.

I'm right in oakbrook looking for a tint shop...may I ask how much you were charged?Hey I just wanted to mention that I had my model 3 tinted today by a shop called Tints Unlimited in Elmhurst, IL.
I brought it to him based on a referral from PPF installer and the owner Tony installed perfectly.
I read tons of posts back and forth about using a 60" roll for a single piece install vs two pieces, but this guy used a 40" roll of SunTek CIR 40 and installed perfectly. We decided to butt it up against the top defroster line and it's perfect.
Just wanted to mention if anyone is in this area looking for someone to do the install.
no - the lower section is the same clearness as the side windows.I know the upper portion of the back glass is tinted from the factory, does the lower portion have any factory tint on it?
I think it's possible the tint shop used a different tint for the back window.Hi everyone, I'm curious for those of you who have had the rear window tinted what tint % did you get? I decided to do 20% on front/rear/back windows but even on a sunny day it's very hard to see anything out the back window. I had 25% of my old car and visibility out the back wasn't much of an issue.
I know the upper portion of the back glass is tinted from the factory, does the lower portion have any factory tint on it? Since it's so much darker than the sides I figure it either had some default tint already or perhaps it's just a result of the steeper angle when looking through the back vs. the sides that makes it seem so much darker.
I'm debating having the rear tint removed and replaced with something lighter but I have no clue what % would allow me to see through it enough without having no tint at all.
Suggestions?
Looking at something similar... just to clarify, the rear piece was 40%? Happy with it?Here's some pictures of my Model 3 tint in various angles and lighting.....

Where did you have this done?I had Suntek CXP applied to my car (AZ legal - 35%). The rear is all one piece. Very happy with it.

We have white on white ordered and will definitely be doing tint... but yes, I would love to specifically see some examples of other white exteriors with white interiors and tint. Most I've seen have been with chrome delete, which I'm not likely to do.I wanna tint my P3D+ but not sure how it would look with white on white.. If anyone could post pics that would be great!
Will probably tint my wife's white/white Model 3 at 30% ceramic all around and nothing on the windshield. We have white on white ordered and will definitely be doing tint... but yes, I would love to specifically see some examples of other white exteriors with white interiors and tint.
