I have been charging my model Y at home for the past three years and the charge stats show it charging at home. The last charging session generated a message stating the charger was getting hot and the it was reducing the charge. Subsequent charging sessions show that the it is charging at "other" charging locations and not at home. What changed to show that it is not home charging and how do I get it to show home charging?

A few weeks go I received a similar notice on the Tesla app: "Charge rate reduced - Wall plug temperature high. Wall outlet and wiring inspection recommended." It reduced the charging from 32/32A to 17/16A.

I needed to change the 240v outlet. The electrician indicated that new 240v outlets are designed for EV charging specs, unlike the old 240v outlets which were designed for a different use case (clothes dryers).

Thanks for the reply. It was the heavy duty Hubbell outlet that was installed and not the dryer receptacle type. My garage temperature was 95 degrees that day. My question is, why are my charge stats showing up as "other location" and not "home" charging when charging at my home? I had a software update the previous night.
