I found a way. Soft reset the car but holding down both buttons on the wheel and keeping foot on the brake for like a minute. As soon as the car powers back on immediately click on the software tab. It will update the date to the current one after checking with the Tesla server. Please comment and let me know if this works for you also.

2023.32.9 is one of the latest releases of software. Over 30% of owners are on that version today. I wouldn't expect you to have an update.

I've found the car will check for an update no more often than once every 24h, infotainment reset or not. That's on 2023.32.9. On some earlier version I recall it would check each time it was reset. Not now.

I'm not the checking type.

My YLR sat at 2023.32.9 for a very long time, then last night it offered an update to 2023.38.6. The update setting is set to allow more frequent updates.

edit: Yes, it seems a bit like the lottery, although I have never played and naturally I have never won.

I'm surprised I haven't received 2023.38.6 yet - I expect it any time now. Seems like I've been on 2023.32.9 longer than usual. Typically, I get software updates soon after 10% of the fleet gets them based on Software Updates on Notateslaapp. As of this post, it is on 13.3% of the fleet.

EDIT: Just a few hours after I posted this, I received notification to download the update.
