So i am finally getting my car back today. The estimate for the car was completely an error on their part. They charged me to diagnose and replace the 12v battery for a total of $353. They really don't know what they are doing tbh with service. Just don't have the support to handle the volume. Sending me an estimate for $4100 was ridiculous.
That 12V price is a little high, too - did you have the lithium battery?

I remembered later, btw, that when you go to have recall work done by itself at the Tesla SC, they do send you an estimate for the cash cost for the repair, even though it's obviously covered.

And charging you $353 for 12v replacement is also ridiculous (albeit quite reasonable as compared to the $4100 estimate). Most 12v replacements we are hearing about here don't include a diagnostic fee and are less than $120 USD.

Oof, you paid $353 to replace a 12V battery!? I paid $197.56 to replace BOTH of my front upper control arms.
