Locking sounds?

I have a new 2025 Tesla Model 3 LR. I am trying to figure out if there is a way to lower the volume of the locking sound ( I know that there is a variety of sounds I can choose ). I do like to know that the car is locking when I walk away but the sound is very loud. Or maybe there is a way to have no sound but get an alert on my phone. Any help here would be much appreciated. Thank you

There’s a “Joe Mode” that reduces the volume of non-critical sounds. Do you have that enabled?

You can change the lock sound to one of several built-in sounds or load a .WAV from a USB drive as a custom lock sound. Mine plays the Windows XP shutdown sound. :)

If you find a sound you like, but it's too loud, just use a sound editor to reduce the volume of that sound then save it to a USB drive.

I never got that to work correctly, it would never see the lock sound. I did get a custom light show to work, though!
