Anyone recommend a good Tesla app for iPhone that gives you better info on charging and other processes? I noticed a few are out there but most cost which might be ok if they have good functionality.

I pay for two apps (Stats and Tezlab) and two websites (Teslacope.com and TeslaFi.com)

I got TeslaFi around a day or two after getting my MY and it has the complete driving and charging history including an overall map showing everywhere I've driven. Kinda cool I think.

The Tesla app landscape seems like it's about to change since Tesla recently announced pricing for accessing their API (was free apparently). Several app developers have said the pricing is so high they'll need to re-evaluate how much to charge for their apps or whether they can even keep supporting it.

TeslaFi indicated the Tesla API fee changes were the reason for removal of the annual subscription and only having the monthly subscription until things settle with the Tesla fees. I, too, would keep subscribing. I took advantage of a referral from a member here when I initially subscribed to TeslaFi.

I’ve used TeslaFi since getting my Model 3 over six years ago and like @TLee have a complete history of the car, my travels, all charges and their costs, battery status, and a lot of different ways to view that and other information. For me, it has been illuminating. I especially like the comparative information across all Model 3’s, all Teslas, software versions in the wild, and so on. Referrals have made my cost for TeslaFi low or free most years though a subscription currently is $5/month. If the price remains I’ll keep the service as long as I keep the car. TeslaFi also has a two-week free trial period if you wish to get a better feel for what is offered, as do most of the other competitors.

As an aside, if you use someone’s TeslaFi referral code, you’ll receive a month free trial instead of two weeks. If you wish to do so, I’d appreciate it if you’d use mine…send me a message as referral codes in active threads are frowned upon in the forum. No pressure, I’m just pleased with what I’ve seen.
