Nearly every time I drive my Model 3 at night, I get messages on the screen that one side camera or the other isn't working due to some obstruction or whatever. Last night, a perfectly clear dry night, it was toggling back and forth, saying that the right side wasn't working then saying that the left side wasn't working. Also, the automatic headlights weren't working. I had to operate my high beams and low beams the old fashion way, pressing the button on the steering wheel. Are these problems related?

That's a software bug, it also occurs if you have a car too close to you on one side. Just ignore it until it gets fixed.
I get that every morning during my (pre-dawn) commute. I just ignore it. I've never had Autopilot or FSD fail to work when this happens.
I used to get this awhile back with earlier software versions and when driving on dark unlit roads - I always thought it was too dark for the side cameras to "see" anything.
More recently, I've had a few experiences where my car was around 10%SOC and as I navigated to a supercharger and the car was pre-conditioning, I'd experience these types of errors along with the side cameras being blank or frozen images when using my turn signals. It probably happened 2 or 3 times this year.
