Been getting this warning for a few days now. Pops up about 20-30 seconds after starting up.

Service appointment tomorrow.

Last spring while traveling, I rented a turo, which this error came up immediately after driving away from the owner. I texted him back about it and he said it had been on/off for about a month and Tesla’s remote diagnostic assured it was due to the warning sensor not an actual airbag fault and scheduled it for replacement weeks out.
not sure he was telling the truth, but if so sounded like tesla didn’t think it was an immediate risk.

The picture I posted shows both airbag & seatbelt icons. When I took the picture I didn't have my seatbelt on. When I latched the seatbelt, the seatbelt icon went off leaving just the airbag icon. So I don't know...maybe there's another harness?
I think FMVSS regulations which dictate the error lights and their conditions simply require the airbag light to go on if there is any error with any part of the safety system. Much like the check engine light usually comes on when nothing is actually wrong with the engine. (I don't miss that one!)
Similarly they may not be allowed to turn them off right away, sometimes until multiple drives have occurred with the error no longer present.
