Could not find an answer on initial search and this is probably an issue that only irritates me. For some reason, most mornings on my commute, I change the volume of the radio or music and then proceed to change the wiper setting to off, on full or something. Around the same time I turn onto a main road and concentrate on...oh, I don't know...driving maybe. Meanwhile, my wipers are either going flat out and squeaking or doing nothing when it's chucking it down with rain...so
I can't find a way of turning off thisirritating thing feature. I've had a look around in the settings, anyone know how to turn this off? to me, the scroll wheel on the left is for the volume only and that's it. adding this just catches me several times a week. Must be when the car decides to wipe dew off my screen when I first drive, at the same time I think 'jeez that music is a bit loud for first thing in the morning'....alas...the music stays the same volume and wiper setting changes.
Or maybe I have to add yet another thing to do before setting off. Prepare for soapbox moment....
My 1965 classic car.
1) Unlock door with key get in
2) start car
3) put in gear
4) handbrake off
5) drive off
Tesla
1) sometimes just get in...other times, wait around stabbing at app in phone and wondering why it didn't open
2) put foot on brake (enter code, but that's my choice),
3) put seatbelt on, otherwise it'll bong me to death
4) press menu button
5) press autodrive option (whatever it's called)
6) scroll to bottom
7) turn off lane change warning...otherwise, I'll be steered into traffic and I'll get bonged at all morning
8) turn off brake assist thingy in case I decide to clout into a car that might be slowing down 600m in front of me....or get beep to death all morning
9) put into drive
10) now...maybe, I have to wipe the screen manually....wait for menu to sod off and then change music volume level because I was listening to ACDC last night at level 11.
ah, the simpler days.
Steps off soapbox.
