On the third charge from new on a Tesla Supercharger in the middle of France at night - I started charging and saw a cloud of steam or smoke coming from the nearside front area above the wheel arch. I stopped charging immediately. Nothing further happened - so I resumed charging without incident. Ten charges later - it hasn't reoccurred.
It was a dry night with no evidence of any water anywhere.
