The car will not come with a charging adapter, you have to choose one. There's the Mobile Connector, which is portable and comes by default with a couple of plug heads (I'm not sure which ones in the UK, but probably UK standard and/or Schuko), the Wall Connector, which is hard wired, and third party options I'm not sure of.

If you go with 3rd party, I believe the charging standard in the UK is CCS2, so you shouldn't have any problem there.

 

The charging connectors are shown as an extra-cost option when you place a vehicle order online.

 

Took possession 10 days ago. You get a J1772 adapter and that’s all. Tesla rep said I wouldn’t receive anything so I ordered that adapter. Now returning it.

 

Same. I did everything online, it clearly states you have to buy the wall charger or the mobile charge kit. I had a rental that included the J1772 adapter but that was not listed so I thought Hertz provided it.

I ordered the mobile charge kit which should get here this week, and I ordered a J1772 adapter ahead of time from amazon, Picked up my new car yesterday, received the adapter from amazon, went to put it in the trunk and found that it came with one already. Doh - thankfully amazon refunds are quick and painless.
