I replaced the wiper blades on two Model 3's with Michelin Endurance XT Advanced Silicone blades. They fit fine except I may have picked a size a little long since the driver side blade slaps a little because it hits the upper left window edge. Initially they seemed to streak a little but I guess this is the window coating coming out of the blade. Now I find they work well. I got them at Walmart. There are several adapter pieces so you have to read the directions to figure out which pieces to use.

I just bought replacement wiper blades from my service center.
They were $22 each.

Inflation. ;)
What?? Mine were $23 each and I bought them at the Toledo Service Center this week.

So I replace my wiper blades once a year and here is my experience with 3 different sets.

The OEM wipers worked well even after 1 year (they are made by Bosch).

Next I tried Bosch PureVision for a year and they weren't that great. They started chattering less than halfway through and wouldn't clean the windshield well (leaving some streaks).

Yesterday I put on the PIAA Si-Tech wipers with the "B" adapter and "M" base as shown in my picture. I washed my car first and cleaned the windshield with the included wipes. I tried them out in slight drizzle on my way to work and they are quiet and silky smooth. I have a new set of OEM wipers that I will keep as backups, but will probably keep using the PIAA Si-Tech wipers as long as they last the whole year with great results.

Edit: here's an article with pictures on how to install the PIAA wipers on Model 3 (not mine) for those that need it https://www.cravenspeed.com/piaa-si-tech-wiper-blade-kit-for-tesla-model-3-install-guide/

Thanks, after one year, new wipers are due. However, I noticed something strange yesterday:

The window washer tube formed a loop. The fluid still came out without a problem. Just curious if anyone else has seen this?

For now, I just pushed the tube down towards the hinge but it looks like there is a free loop down there. I'm thinking a small, zip-tie might be needed?

Thanks,
Bob Wilson

There are some plastic clips under the frunk top cover that hold the windshield washer lines. Maybe the hose came loose from one of them? Open the frunk and pop up the upper cover around where the washer fluid reservoir is to get a look. You should be able to feed the excess hose through the clip and under the cover.

Another option (which I will try out tomorrow) is to keep reusing the OEM Tesla wipers and just replace the rubber blade. I just took out the original rubber and measured the widths. At 6mm wide it looks like a wide variety of aftermarket wiper blade refills fit (like ones for Rain-X Latitude and Bosch Icon). Usually the refills come in 28" lengths and your trim them to fit.

I will try taking out the rubber blades from my Bosch PUREVision wipers and use them to refill my OEM Tesla ones. It would be nice to use the PIAA silicone wiper refills, but the 26" refill is 8mm wide and too big to fit the OEM wiper beam unless one trims the width of the locking T-shaped strip. From the PIAA website - Rubber claw width is 6mm for sizes 12" up to 22" and 8mm for sizes 24" up to 28".

P.S. The OEM Tesla wipers are made by Bosch. Stamped on them are a tiny Bosch logo and "Made in Austria".

I'd like to try to replace just the rubber refill. PIAA.com has part #'s 94065 (26 inch, track width 8mm) and 94048 (19 inch, track width 6mm). Will they fit ? Also, I can't, for the life me, figure out how to remove the end cap. Any advise is appreciated.

I'm not sure on those blades, but my video below will show you how to remove the wipers

You need to lift up on the tabs on the underside. Both sides at the same time. Then it will slide off.
Those tabs have protrusions that fit into holes into the metal underneath.

Just so you know, if/when those hose clips break, you can replace them. They are on Ebay by searching for "Windshield wiper Clip Door Hose Arm to fit Tesla Model 3/Y". They are a great quality and design.

Hello I'm new here and was having the same issue. I found the wiper arm was missing some retainers to keep the hose attached to the arm. I found them on Etsy.
