Need to replace my tires on model3; recommendation on brands, ... have 19" sport wheel; most important is quietness of ride
I've merged your post into an existing thread on the topic.
Read through this thread - there's a lot of good advice and suggestions available.

If you scroll a page or two back, you will see I may have answered your question. (hint, post 323)

After 32K miles and at 3/32 and 4/32 tread on the original Cont. Pro Contact 19" tires I just purchased Cont. Pure Contact LS tires, with 70K mileage warranty.

The good news is car rides great and these tires are bit quieter at highway speeds.
The bad news is efficiency seems way down. 5% to 10% worse. With about 50 miles on the new tires took off on a 400+ mile trip. 42 PSI per tire.

One intermediate stretch of about 2.5 hrs drive at highway high speed would take the battery from SuperCharger 1 at 90% to 16% when I reached SuperCharger 2 on the original tires after they had 20K miles on them. Did the trip 3x in past 6 months.
Same SuperCharger delta, same road, similar traffic, similar weather this time with new tires I went from 90% SOC to 9% SOC.

Car prediction was wrong at every SuperCharger stop to next SuperCharger. It was predicting 2-4 points higher at beginning of the drive to the next SuperCharger.

I seem to recall original tires did improve efficiency over time and hoping that's the case.
This is more than I expected.
I also changed out my ProContacts to the PureContact LS's. I made the change at around 27,000 miles, shortly before embarking on a 5,200 mile road trip. I didn't really notice any difference in road noise and I was very pleased with ride and cornering. I didn't notice any difference in mileage efficiency, although I wasn't paying close attention. At the end of my trip the lifetime Watts/Mile increased from 282 to 284, for what it's worth. The PureContact tires are lighter than the ProContacts, although for long distance driving that is probably less of a factor. The PureContacts were Consumer Reports highest rated 19" All Season tire for the model 3. Overall I am very pleased so far.

You might look at the Michelin Crossclimate +, if you are a Costco member they have them for sale now through the 25th.
I went with the Crossclimate + from Tire Rack. There is a $70 rebate. The reviews are very good. Should be here tomorrow.

Will be eager for your updates.
Tires are on. At first I thought they were louder (no foam inside), but it was the rough road. On the highway they sound the same, and the wind noise is louder anyway. Don't have enough miles on them to judge the handling, but so far they feel pretty good. They are a rotational tire, so that's interesting. First of that type I have had on a car. Tread pattern is non-traditional also. Blackwall too.

All in, they ran about $1K. That included M&B, disposal of old tires, alignment and state inspection. There was also a $70 rebate (Visa card) from Michelin, which I should see in 4-6 weeks. And Tire Rack gives you road hazard coverage for two years.

Uneven tread wear like that is usually due to misalignment rather than a particular tire. Be sure to get the car aligned before, during, or shortly after getting new tires to prevent that from happening again.
According to the alignment report, the Toe was out on all four wheels. Camber/Caster were all within spec so only very minor teaks, if any, there. The vehicle specs are based on says M3 performance, but they seem to be the same as what I see for M3D.

I have about 18k miles on my OEM Primacys and will be needing a new set soon on about 6/32nds of thread remaining. I have a long road trip coming up and would like to get a new set on there before then. I went through the thread and i see a lot of recommendations for the Conti Pureontact LS. But i also see some say that the load rating on the tires for the M3 should be about 98 which is what the OEM were rated at. The Purecontacts that i see on Tirerack are rated at 94v. Is there a different model im not seeing or is the load rating all not that important. Also, saw on tire rack set of tire Sumitomo HTR Enhance LX2 it has one review from a Tesla M3 ownerr that was positive. Does any one have any experience on this tire?

You've probably got about 15K left on your OEM's.

Wish I had 6/32s after 18K miles!

You are still far from the legal minimum tread depth. You don't say where you will be driving, but If in winter conditions, tires with tread depth under 6/32s will not have the the traction in snow of tires with tread depth greater than 6/32s. Otherwise, you are good to go.

thanks for the advise. I will be up there for an extended period of time throughout winter. do you think keeping the OEM are a safe bet.
If Alabama gets snow, you simply DON'T DRIVE until the snow melts away.
They don't have any equipment for melting or clearing snow, so even a little bit can become quite dangerous.
But it also doesn't last long. Just plan on waiting it out.

Driving in southern snow is no problem. It the thaw and overnight refreeze that is dangerous. If you're unfamiliar with these conditions, new tires aren't a solution. @garsh is right, don't try to drive unfamiliar icy roads. Wait til the afternoon, it'll be gone.

I am driving a 2020 M3P and just put on 18" wheels with CC+ for my drive back to Wa from San Diego. For the last 200 miles in San Diego, I've been getting 268Wh/mile. Better than with the stock 20" with Pilot Sport 4S (289Wh/mile). Same driving habits, a little bit aggressive.

M3 SR+ R18. Right ar 30k miles, and at 2/32 wear. I am leaning towards CC+ based on reviews and the price of the OEM tire.

Important for me is efficiency as I regularly, 2x a week, need to go to 90% charge to get to a supercharger %8 - 10% and then return home again. (And it is not winter yet!!)

But then I found a tire shop close to me that had the Michelin Primacy MXM4 235/45R18 for $208 BUT the tire LOAD RANGE says SL (and not XL)

Does Michelin make a tire like that, or is it their info that is incorrect?

Thanks

My experience with the CC+ tires is generally better efficiency, and certainly not worse, than my original MXM4 tires. I don't do much highway driving, and it has been warmer than usual but that's still an apples to apples - driving habits and weather - comparison over two years of car ownership and 6 months now with the CC+.
