Haven't needed a spare in over 20 years. And I don't want to lose ANY storage space.
Most manufacturers don't put spares in cars anymore because they aren't needed. As well as I can remember one of the last times that I needed a spare, it was dry-rotted.

 

I wish I could say I havent needed a spare in 20 years, I dont have your luck. Yes it is a sacrifice of space but I look at it as piece of mind.

When I lost my tire on my Y, I had it towed home...Tesla came to my house and repalced the tire in my driveway ! =) Not too bad for service !

Was the cost of the tow more than the cost of replacing the tire?

Towed me, but to the service center but it was 1am....so that wasn't happening. LOL

 

It wouldn't be so good if you were on a roadtrip.

I just came home from Las Vegas, started 6am, got home about 530pm.
It was a spur of the moment roadtrip with nothing planned. Only thing I forgot was the plug-in USB adapter to charge my phone, left at home.
